The Snohomish County Food Project is a project started by the Snohomish County Rotaract Club. The goal of this project is to provide Snohomish County food banks with consistent supplies of non-perishable food items.
Our Neighborhood Coordinators and team of volunteers go around to our food donor's doors, pick up a bag of food (bag is provided by us) and then deliver them to the food banks.
It’s the easiest, most effective, most empowering way to organize community support for local food banks.
June 2025 we saw the largest donation of our entire project! A total of 966lbs to our local food banks!
How it works!
Sign up to be a food Donor or Neighborhood Coordinator. All of food donors are provided with one of our reusable bags.\
Neighborhood Coordinators: Drive to their closest neighbors and pick up food donations. These donations are then taken to the local food bank and recorded for the overall monthly donation total.
Food Donor: A program partner who collects non-perishable food for the food bank and leaves it in their green bag.
Grocery Shopping
Food donors buy a couple of non-perishable items each time you go grocery shopping and store it in the bag we provide you.
Leave the Bag Outside
Every 2nd Saturday of every even month (February, April, June, August, October, and December) our Neighborhood Coordinators come to your doorstep, pick up the bag and deliver it to the food bank.
